Neon Spring Series

Neon Spring Series

This season I have been seeing alot of neon in fashion as a standout trend. This current trend is a favorite of mine since I’ve always loved hot pink and oranges (especially if I have a tan). I also love that neon colors go great with black ( which is always my go to color) so you can get the best of both worlds. I put together three neon looks for different events that you could incorporate into your wardrobe if your looking to add neon into some of your looks this season without splurging on a trend and using staple pieces that you already have in your closet.

Dinner Date!

I wore this Hot Pink Neon dress out to dinner with family while traveling in the Dominican Republic. This dress is at a great length to the knee so you can wear it to dinner and also out for drinks afterwards. The one shoulder is also super cute with the detailing in the middle. Even though this dress is a solid color, the detailing makes it stand out. This dress is also a great vacation piece to wear out at night if you are traveling. Since it is one shoulder you can wear this in warmer climates as I was wore this dress in DR in 85 degree weather and it worked out great.

Night Out/Club Outfit!

If you are going out to a club or a rooftop for drinks, pairing a neon bodysuit with a black or white bottom is a great go to outfit. Black shorts, skirts, or pants are staple pieces that we all usually have in our wardrobes so buying a neon top/ bodysuit is only half the outfit. I loved the mesh cage detailing and it fit great under my black bandage skirt.

They no longer carry the color I am wearing in my photo, but they do have it in neon pink!

Casual Day Time Look!

You can still rock the neon trend if you are doing casual errands, going to lunch, or even meeting friends for happy hour by pairing a neon top with a pair of jeans. I paired my look with gold heels but you can honestly wear this with flat sandals or sneakers for more comfort. I paired this bright yellow bodysuit from Naked Wardrobe with ripped denim ankle jeans from Hot Miami Styles and added my black Gucci belt. At the end of the day your just wearing jeans and a bodysuit, which I like to call my “basic uniform” since its a staple look for me, but wearing a bright color on top brings life to the outfit and changes up your look!

They no longer have my style on the site, but I did link another bodysuit in the same color in a one shoulder long sleeve style.

Vacation Style Guide

Vacation Style Guide

Shopping for Vacation is one of my favorite things because I love resort wear and putting together bright colorful outfits that always make me think of summer and the beach! I am a total beach babe and could literally spend all day in the sun. I traveled to the DR over this past summer and I am sharing some outfit ideas for a few activities for anyone planning a getaway to somewhere in the sunshine!

Beach Day!

Grab a bright colored bikini to match your scenery ! lol This bathing suit is my favorite since its on trend and super comfortable. I also love to accessorize with sunglasses, a sun hat, and a swim coverup! Another cool piece of jewelry I like to complete my tropical look is a gold or silver body chain.

My sunglasses are Quay X Desi and my bikini is from Hot Miami Styles.

Adventure/Exploring!

When I traveled to DR, we visited the capital in Santo Domingo and did a bike tour, I paired a white bodysuit from Naked Wardrobe (linked a similar style to mine) with some cut off jean shorts and adidas sneakers. Perfect outfit that incorporates comfort and looking cute! I also brought a little backpack with me which worked out for riding bikes and also while walking around the city keeping my hands free.

Night Time/Dinner & Drinks!

When traveling to the Caribbean or any place warm I always find it easy to pack lightweight dresses that I can just throw on and dress up with a statement earring & heels. Below are two dress type options I wore out to dinner/drinks while on vacation! I also like to pack bright colors since I usually have a nice tan and try to stay away from my usual black dress code in New York lol! I also try to pack one to two pairs of heels that go with all of my night time outfits since suitcase space is limited ( I always end up at the 50lb mark lol anyone else always overpack?)

Another great option for night time/day time looks are Two -Piece Sets and Rompers! These always look chic and are perfect for warm weather nights.

Top 5 Beauty Products of 2018

Top 5 Beauty Products of 2018

Welcome to my blog! I am so excited to share all things fashion and beauty with you guys as this industry has always been a true passion of mine! As 2018 has come to end and we are onto new beginnings in 2019 I am taking my 5 most loved  beauty products into the new year with me!  These products are part of my everyday makeup routine and when I want to go full glam.

All products are linked below!

  1. ALEXA PERSICO COSMETICS Jessie James Decker Lip Kit
    • I finally caved a few months ago and purchased the kit and right after I tried it I immediately went back  ordered a second lip kit since they sell out super fast!  This formula is my favorite because it keeps my lips hydrated and the color is beautiful!
  2. IT COSMETICS CC Cream.
    • I use shade medium and use this as a foundation for my skin.  I have been suffering from hormonal acne the past few months and this CC cream has been life changing and has been amazing on my skin.  I have had less breakouts since using this and it leaves the perfect base for the rest of your make up application.  The base is not to shiny and not too matte.
  3. TOO FACED Better Than Sex Mascara
    • This mascara has been my go to and all time favorite all year.  It gives both length and volume and I love the applicator brush!
  4. KAT VON D Contour Palette
    • I have tried a bunch of contour palettes and this one is my favorite and the one that works for me.  It blends really well over my IT COSMETICS CC Cream.
  5.  CLINIQUE Moisture Surge Hydrator
    • This moisturizer is my all time favorite, I have in between skin but it tends to get really dry in the winter and this product keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day and it makes my make up application a lot smoother.
